Meet Lark
Lark Tutoring was founded with one goal in mind: making large score improvements possible for everyone.
The industry standard is 100 pts on the SAT (roughly 20 percentile points of improvement), but, with the right coaching & materials, many students are capable of much more.

Julie Wright began tutoring at the age of 16, when she took her mother’s college calculus class. Her fellow students (all freshman in college!) quickly realized that she explained concepts in a clear and intuitive way and asked her to tutor them on the weekends.
Julie continued tutoring Calculus at Harvard University while finishing her B.A. in Art, Film, and Visual Studies, and later joined major Manhattan-based tutoring company Zinc Educational Services. At Zinc, she became known for the consistent and sizeable score increases her students achieved, no matter their starting score. She taught SAT classes at The Chapin School, Trinity School, Grace Church School, Saint Ann’s School, and The Packer Collegiate Institute. As one of a select group of mentor tutors, she trained new tutors, led workshops on advanced SAT math strategy, and served as a resource and guide for tutors at all levels.
